Houston Community ToolBank

Houston Community ToolBank

Recently, I was asked to join the board of the Houston Community ToolBank, a local non-profit organization dedicated to lending tools to metro Houston’s charitable sector.  The ToolBank works with local charities by providing fast and easy access to large volumes of high-quality tools to increase the impact of service projects and community revitalization efforts.

Some of the projects include:

  • Facility maintenance and repair projects
  • Community-wide and neighborhood clean-ups
  • Playground builds
  • School campus improvements
  • Senior home repairs
  • Special events and fundraisers
  • Greenspace reclamation and planting days
  • Faith-based mission trips

I’m very excited to have the opportunity to work with such a worthwhile organization that is poised to make such a positive community impact.  For more information about the ToolBank, check out their website here.
